James L. Cutler, 76, retired farmer and trucker, died Monday morning at a local rest home following a lingering illness. Mr. Cutler as a well known farmer of the Dehlin area, south east of Iona, for many years. After he retired from farming, he did some trucking in the city.

He was born Feb. 18, 1876 at Mound Valley, Idaho. He was married to Millie Chadwick on Sept 3, 1902 in the Logan LDS Temple. The couple lived in Preston until 1914 when they moved to Idaho Falls where they made their home. Mrs. Cutler died Dec. 29, 1946.

He is survived by six daughters and one son, Mrs. Ed. Ellingford, Marion Cutler and Mrs. Hazel Johnson, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Allen Dean, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Clarence Morgan, Denver; Mrs. Kenneth Stephenson, Nampa and Mrs. Herbert Carson, Butte.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. R. C. Cole, Arima, Idaho and a brother, Sam Cutler, Ogden.
