Obituary - Samuel P. Cutler, 82, of 870 23rd, died this morning at his home of natural causes.

Mr. Cutler was born Dec. 4, 1886, in Cleveland, Idaho, a son of Orson P. and Jane McGregor Cutler.

On July 5, 1911, he was married to Mabel Davis in Great Falls, Mont. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died March 1, 1947. On May 5, 1950, he was married to Agnes Wesley in Ogden.

He had lived in Ogden since 1942 and formerly resided in Preston, Idaho.

He was a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad Co. prior to retiring.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen, Local No. 428, and an elder in the LDS Church. He was a charter member of the Fire Department in Preston, Idaho.

Surviving are his widow, one son and one daughter, Deran D. Cutler, Ogden; Mrs. Richard (Nedra) Cole, La Puente, Calif.; one stepson and four stepdaughters, Paul F. Wesley, Winfield, Kan.; Mrs. C. O. (Katheleen) Hale, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. L. A. (Pauline) McCarty, Clearfield; Mrs. J. C. (Myrtle) Morris, Layton; Mrs. L. R. (Virginia) James, Genesee, Idaho; 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be announced by Lindquist and Sons Mortuary.
