Funeral services for Martha Bell Brinegar were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the First Congregational Church with burial in the Mountain View section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Donald Pacula, Delbert Caudell, Lester R. Ogren, Robert M. and Eldon M. Spicer and Sam A. Megeath.

Mrs. Brinegar died Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She was 90 and resided at 110 3rd St.

She had been in ill health for the past three months. Mrs. Brinegar was born at Traphill, North Carolina on April 27, 1885, the daughter of the late Vincent and Martha C. Hall Spicer, and attended school at Traphill. She was married to William Thomas Brinegar at Alleghany County, North Carolina in 190?, and had been a resident of this area since 1906.

Survivors include two sons, LeeRoy of Rock Springs, and Vernon of South Pasadena, California; two sisters, Mrs. Maude McBride of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Verna Joines of Traphill, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charlotte Brinegar of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Spicer of Tempe, Arizona; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Brinegar on October 28, 1943, a daughter, Beatrice, three sons, Vaughn, who died in 1974, and Lester and Walter, who died in infancy and two brothers, Earnest and John Spicer.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
