He was born October 30, 1920, in Rock Springs, the son of William and Martha Brinegar.
He graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1938. He attended the University of Washington and the Los Angeles School of Industrial Design. He later joined his father in sheep and cattle ranching and real estate development.
He married Dorothe Virginia Peach February 11, 1945, in Rock Springs.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, one niece and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers, Vaughn and Vernon Brinegar.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
