Anna Marie was born at Rohrbach, South Russia. In 1869, she was confirmed under pastorate of Rev. Karl Bonekemper in the Reformed church at Rohrbach. On Dec 6, 1876 she was married to Jacob Klein. To this home twelve children were born, four of whom died when small.
