According to his Washington State death certificate, Thomas was the son of Francis Bagshaw and Harriet Williams. His wife was named Ethel. He was a farmer.

In his WWI Draft Registration card, Thomas lived in Seattle with his wife Ethel. He worked as a shipyard foreman for the J. F. Duthie Co. of Seattle. he was a naturalized citizen. The card was dated 9/12/1918.

"Thomas Bagshaw

Thomas Bagshaw, aged 55 years, died after a brief illness on November 19. He was a native of England, coming to this country in 1892. He had lived for over seven years on the Robb ranch and is survived by his widow, Ethel and a daughter, Ruth, who is a student at Washington State College. He is also survived by one brother and six sisters and was a brother of the late Enoch Bagshaw of Seattle.

He was affiliated with the Shrine, the Scottish Rite and Blue Lodge, 117 of Bremerton.

Funeral services, directed by C. G. Chittenden, were held under the auspices of the Masons on Saturday in the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Seattle. Burial was in Lake View cemetery."
