William Gemmer, 77, did at his home in Andrews at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning. He had been in failing health for some time and was seriously ill a week. He was born in Dallas township, January 28, 1863, to Henry and Mary Gemmer and was married October 31, 1889 to Katie Ann Zinsmeister. Surviving are the widow, a son Henry J. Gemmer, Wabash county; a daughter, Mrs, Helena Schenkle, Lancaster township; a brother Philip Gemmer, Huntington; sister, Mrs Phoebe Lintner, Wabash; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at St. Paul's Evangelical church on the Huntington-Wabash county line. The Rev. F. C. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
