Stave Funeral Held Friday
Mrs. Eva Stave, lifelong resident of Lengby, passed away Dec. 28, 1976, at the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital in Bagley at the age of 76.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stave were held Friday, Dec. 31, 1976, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lengby. The Rev. G. F. Guldberg officiated. Internment will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Eva Marie Stave was born Dec. 18, 1900, in Lengby to Herbert and Louise Hilliard. She attended school in Lengby and resided there her entire life.
She was married to William Stave Nov. 28, 1921, in Lengby. Her husband passed away in 1962.
Mrs. Stave was a member of the Lengby VFW Auxiliary. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she was active in the work of her church.
She is survived by two sons, James of White, S.D., and Darrell of Brainerd, Minn.; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ardelle) Danks of Lenby, Mrs. Peter (Marilyn) Abeldgaard of Richfield, Minn., Mrs. James (Marion) Boisjolie of Bloomington, Minn., and Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Helmberger of Bloomington; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was precede in death by her husband, her parents, one infant daughter, and one brother.
Casket bearers were Peter Abeldgaard, Richard Danks, Marshall Helmberger, Bill Stave, Jr., Richard Helmberger, and James Boisjolie.
