He married to Ruth Palmer in Feb 1784, at the Nine Partners Monthly Meeting of Friends, and together they had 11 children: Sarah b: 1784, Patience b: 1786, Levi b: 1788, Pheobe b: 1790, Ruth b: 1791, Charlotte b: 1793, Jacob b: 1796, Isaac b: 1798, Margaret b: 1800, Nathaniel b: 1802 and Lydia b: 1804. Nathaniel buried his beloved Ruth in 1804.
Nataniel married 2nd to Mary (Cooper) Jenks, widow of Thomas Jenks (mother of 7) in 1815. Together they had 3 sons: Thomas b: 1816, Levi b: 1818 and Abner b: 1820.
Nathaniel died in Wayne County, New York while visiting friends.
