Here lyes the body of the
Reverend Alexander Scott
A. M. and Presbyter of the Church of England
who for nearly twenty-eight years was Minister of Overwharton Parish.
He died in the 53d year of his life,
he being born the 20th day of July A.D. 1687
departed this life the first day of April, 1738
