Acie Carl Houston, 78, Barnett, died Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Versailles. He was born May 31, 1915, in Miller County, a son of Collier and Maggie Howard Houston. He was a retired carpenter and electrician and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, Versailles.
Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Lee, Barnett, and Maude Gerber, Chehalis, Wash.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Leslie Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Park Cemetery, Barnett. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday.
