Zola Lemmon Coleman passed away May 2, 1998.

She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 14, 1905 to William and Adelia Scott Lemmon. She married David George Coleman on November 2, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died September 28, 1983. Zola was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and gave generously of her time and support. She was a beautiful, generous and gracious lady known for her radiant smile, quick wit, sense of humor and good cheer. She was courageous and positive in celebrating life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is now free of pain and will be embracing her new life.Zola was a member of the LDS Church and served many callings over the years. Her work experience included many years at Mitchell's Landscaping and Gifts. She shared her talents with everyone...her many creative talents included the art of tying beautiful bows. Zola was well known as a professional floral designer. She contributed countless hours over the years to the Salt Lake Tribune Garden Festival and the Civic Beautification Awards. She was a member and served on the board of the Flora Culture Garden Club. She also served as a volunteer at the LDS Hospital.

Zola is survived by two sons and a daughter: David G. (Janet), Jerry W. (Ruth), and Sandra Christensen (Kent); seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Bartholomew and Ruth Erickson; and a brother, Earl Lemmon. She was preceded in death by her husband; and grandson, Jeff; two brothers Elwyn and Mick; and two sisters, Eloise and Norma.

The family would like to express appreciation to her physician, Dr. Cherie Brunker and the staff of the Life Care Center of Bountiful for their wonderful care.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, May 7, 1998 at 1 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Rosemont Section). Friends called at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:45-12:45 prior to service.
