Frederick R. Anderson, 63, 12-year resident of Carver, worked as a machinist

CARVER – Frederick R. Anderson, 63, of Carver, husband of Mildred E. (Monti) Anderson, died Monday at Jordan Hospital, Plymouth.
Born in Brockton, son of the late Henry R. and Lucille R. (Garfield) Anderson, he graduated from Brockton Vocational School and lived in Michigan and Quincy before moving to Carver 12 years ago.
Mr. Anderson was a machinist for Brockton Machinery and Nuvac Systems in Kingston.
He was a member of the Hanson Rod and Gun Club and the National Rifle Association and a former member of the Enterprise Club in Brockton. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Douglas Anderson of Fairhaven and Wayne Anderson of Bridgewater; a brother, David Anderson of Brockton; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Stott, Chapman, Cole, & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
