He was born on Feb. 5, 1920, and served his country in the Navy during World War II. His great loves, other than his family, was his involvement in the Masonic Lodge. In July 1943, he joined the Park Place Lodge. He was also a member of 1192 Goose Creek Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the South Houston Masonic Lodge.
His other love was his machine shop, which he started in 1959.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Clarice Morris; son, Carl E. Morris, Jr. and wife Wanda Faye; daughter, Joyce Martin; sister, Bessie Morris and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
