Upton Biggerstaff, 79, former Hunt County resident, died at 4:20 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Sulphur Springs. He had been in ill health for the past year.

Funeral services will be held at the Gray - Ballard - Sorrells chapel, with Rev. W. O. Majors, pastor of Lamar Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Tidwell cemetery.

Mr. Biggerstaff was born on August 6, 1869 in the White Rock community, north of Greenville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Biggerstaff. He made his home in Dallas for a number of years and was a retired street car operator.

Surviving are one brother, Wallace Biggerstaff, Greenville; and two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Green; Stratford; and Mrs. Lillian King, Dallas.
