Woodrow Deerberg, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011.
Woodrow was born November 1, 1918 in Indianapolis, the son of Anton and Amelia (Schaekel) Deerberg.
In 1980, he retired from the Beech Grove Shops after 30 years. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World war II.
Woodrow was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Annabelle (Michael) and 2nd wife, Ruth Maxine (Kruge) and son, Ronald.
He is survived by daughters, Sharon (Richard) Meurer, Linda (John) Eaton, Dena (Terry) Misner, Terri (Stan) Vaughn and Lorri (James) Morrison; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Dora Allen, Gertrude Hilton & Laura Nicoson.
