Edna Marshall, 75, of Ireton, Iowa died Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in Plymouth Manor in Lemars.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton, with Rev. Warren Prochnow officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Edna was born May 13, 1927, in Akron, Iowa the daughter of John "Dick" and Mary (Nannen) Frerichs. She married Russell Marshall on Feb. 18, 1946 in Sioux City. They lived in northwest Harwarden, Iowa, for four years before farming near Chatsworth, Iowa. In 1966 they moved to Ireton, Iowa in 1966 where she was a supervisor for a Atlas Company from 1976 to 1986. She then sold church and town memorabilia for several advertising companies. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and St.Paul's Lutheran Church. She served as the Family Genealogist.

Survivors include her husband Russell; three sons, Kenneth Marshall of Omaha, Neb., Ronald of New Richmond, Wis., Gary and wife Karen of Vermillion, S.D.; a daughter Linda and Rodney Kuecker of Ireton, Iowa; a brother Herb and Margaret Frerichs of Akron; a sister-in-law Ella Frerichs of Akron; seven grandchildren, Jeff and Heyley Marshall and Jamie, Ryan, Rob, and Kelley Marshall, Veronica and Cory Jaqua; two step-grandchildren, Laura and husband Mark Hofland, and Jacob Kuecker; 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Clara Sathoff; four brothers, Albert, Ben, Lewis and Edwin Frerichs.
