Wellington Daily News, Thursday, September 15, 1983:
Flossie Bruton died early today at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was 80.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Frank Funeral Home.

Mrs. Flossie M. Bruton died yesterday at the Wesley Medical Center. She was 80.

Mrs. Bruton was a homemaker and a resident of Wellington since moving here i a covered wagon at the age of three months. She was born Jan. 12, 1903 in Harrisonville, Mo. She married Floyd J. Bruton on Jan. 25, 1921. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd, of the home; one son, Roger, of Englewood, Colo.; one sister, Fay Clarkson, Wellington; three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, at the Frank Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene DeWitt of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight.

Frank Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Flossie M. Bruton were held Saturday at the Frank Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene DeWitt of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Sumner Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lavonne Morris played selections of "I Love to Tell The Story" and "For All The Saints."

Casketbearers were Jim Lamkin, Charles Rankin, Reitzel Zimmerman, Bob Johnston, Robert Gaddie and LaVern Wallace.

Frank Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
