Margaret,wife of Morris Langdon actally Maurice Sylvester langan sr.
one OF the oldest settlers in Shell creek valley,died last saturday at the family home.
the family home was near platte center nebraska.Margaret was 64 years old at the time of her death.the husband and seven children survive her.margaret was the aunt of j.f. carrig and h.c.carrig of this city.A daughter of mrs. langan MRS.langan,sister Sylvia who was stationed formerly at ST.FRANCIS ACADEMY at this place until two months ago. when she was transfered to a similar institution at INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA,was present at the funeral. the funeral was held at the catholic church in platte center tuesday. ST. PATRICKS CEMETERY where mrs.Langdon will be burried at is located 1mile east 3miles south.1mile east and 1/2 mile north of Platte Center. St.Boneventures Cemetery is located in Columbus Nebraska

ON her headstone it says margaret langen it should read langan. She is burried in St. Patricks Cemetery with Maurice Sr. they have seperate burial sites. He has no headstone but it is believed he rests beside her. The age reported may be wrong also. the cemetery is a pretty little thing. on a hill and out in the country.
