Daughter of Alonzo (A Civil war Vet-PA 83rd, Company H) & Amanda Sawdy originally born in Pennsylvania, then moved to Minnesota via covered wagon. Married to Rev. James B. Wasson who was first assistant at St Thomas Church on 5th Ave, and Chaplain of Stangers Welfare Fellowship (FDR was on the Board of this org.)and buried in Wood Lawn Cemetary, Bronx, NY. No children were born to them. She was the sister of my great Grandmother.
