Ginger France left this message: According to the book "Sanford Genealogy, the Branch of William of Madison, NY" by Heman Howes Sanford published 1894. Alonzo Perry Sawdy was born 7 Apr 1842 in Lockport, PA. Also in this book it says that his wife was Amanda Dirr. I have also seen her surname as Durr. Her birthday and place are the same in this book also. The book says that they were married in Pittsburg, PA on 22 Sep 1864 but Amanda's obit says they were married on that date in Taylorsville, PA.
