Pauline R. Pierce 145 N. Main, Climax, Mich - Age 70, passed away Wednesday afternoon at a Battle Creek hospital. Mrs. Pierce was born October 6, 1905 in Climax, daughter of George and Nettie Worden Pierce and had been a resident of the area her entire life. In 1923 she was married to Millard O. Pierce, who survives. She is survived by three sons, Millard Jr. (Bud), of Galesburg, Richard of Union City and Raymond of Galesburg; six daughters, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Mohney of Luther, Mich., Mrs. John (Marjorie) Steve of Augusta, Mrs. Leroy (Faye) Osborn of Climax and Mrs.Carl (Marie) Mohney of Three Rivers, Mrs. Charles (Florence) Allen and Mrs. Martin (Leona) Reschner of Climax; two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Jennie) Elwell and Mrs. Wayne (Pearl) Selby of Climax; 28 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Schmitts Funeral Home, Climax, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., Pastor Bruce Love officiating. Interment, Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax.
