Mrs. Abbie Lowe Denney, of Powersburg, Ky., age 72, passed away February 26, 1966 in the Somerset City Hospital. Mrs. Denney ahd been an invalid for a long time.

She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Hubert Lowe of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Gladys Turner of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Wendell Lowe of Chattanooga and four great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters: Adam Lowe of Pennsylvania, Robert Lowe, Robert Lowe, Thomas Lowe of Jamestown, Tenn. and Victoria Denney of Powersburg, Ky., Nora Pierce of Nora, Ky. and a host of nephews and nieces and friends to mourn her passing.

Mrs. Denney was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for many years.

Bro. Isaac Hucaby conducted the funeral, Psalm 23 as text. Song service was by the church. "Precious Memories" and "Rock of Ages" were two of her favorite songs.

Her friends were made known by the flowers and the many visitors she had while in the hospital and funeral home. She was laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery to await the resurrection.
