Cecil Chiles Reed s/o William Reed and Elizabeth McGuire Reed was given by his mother before her death to Preston Blackburn and Mary Alice Allred Blackburn. Preston and Mary Alice are the parents of Gladys Lucille Blackburn who became the first wife of May Berton 'Bert' Deere (twin to Cecil's wife). Cecil dropped the 'Chiles' from his name and never used it. Cecil married Mamie Beatrice 'Bea' Deere in Lepanto on October 14, 1933. They had 2 children. William Vernon 'Bud' and Alvetta.
