Hoping that he might meet his brother, whom he has not seen since 1938, PFC Amedeo Manci, former Iron Mountain, Michigan resident, was stationed in England, where is brother, Dante is a prisoner of war, having been captured in Egypt, where he was serving with the Italian Army.
Amedeo Manci left Iron Mountain with his parents in 1926 for Italy. He returned in 1938 & stayed for 5 years. He left for Paso Robles, California to visit his sister & from there entered the Army.
