Mrs. Massingill was born April 23, 1907, in Pollok, Texas, to Flora Etta (Yarbrough) and Marion George Aldredge. She died Oct. 19, 2000, in a Lufkin hospital.
Mrs. Massingill was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church, where she worked in the Youth Department of the Church and was a memer of the choir for many years. She had been a resident of Lufkin and Angelina county all her life.
