Martha Street, 63, of Allendale, died 2:41 p.m. Monday Jan. 2, 1995 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale with Rev. Jeanne Kendall officiating. Burial will be in the Allendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday).
Street was born Feb. 25, 1931 in Mt. Erie, the daughter of William and Rachel (Gardner) Atwood, She married Herbert Street Dec. 27, 1947 in Henderson, Ky.
She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Mt. Carmel.
She is survived by her husband, of Allendale; two sons, Bruce Street, of Mt. Carmel, and Ray Street, of Allendale; four daughters, Ellen Asa, of Ft. Branch, Ind., Elaine Davis, Crestview, Fla., Irene Hauger, of Oaktown, Ind., and Marnette Elliott, of Sumner; three brothers, Joe Atwood, of Mt. Erie, Don Atwood, of Fairfield, and Lowell Atwood, of Olney; three sisters, Joan Simmons and Violet Merrick, both of Mt. Erie, and Mary Smith, of Uniontown, Ky.; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Street was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
