Niels Erickson was born in Sjorslev, Viborg, Denmark. He immigrated to Utah July 1870, came thru New York. He married Edel Kirstine Peterson 1 June 1860 in Funder, Viborg, Denmark. They were the parents of 10 children, of which 6 came to Utah with them. Settled in Deseret where they both died and are buried. Niels died 6 July 1890 and Edel Kirstine died 22 Oct 1916.
