Services for John S. Wells, 93, Brownsburg, will be Tuesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Rev. Kenny Lewis will officiate, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery.
A native of Bainbridge, he was born Jan. 27, 1899 to Morton and Etha Hardy Wells. His wife Cleo Walton Wells, preceded him in death in 1982.
Mr. Wells, who died Friday, March 6, in Brownsburg Healthcare Center, had worked for Blue Ribbon Ice Cream for several years, retiring as superintendent.
Surviving are four grand-children and four great-grandchildren.
