Cleo E. Wells, wife of John Wells, died Friday, Dec. 31 at her Plainfield residence. She was 84.
Mrs. Wells was born July 26, 1898 at Groveland to Harry and Etta (Etchason) Walton.
In 1917, she married John Wells and she was a homemaker all her married life.
Residing in the Plainfield area 10 years, Mrs. Wells is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Joan) Swain, West Newton; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Services were Tuesday morning, Jan. 4 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, and entombment followed at the Floral Park Mausoleum, Indianapolis. Rev. Kenny Lewis conducted the services.
