Carolena "Lena" Dora Blocker, daughter of Charles Blocker and Mary Fredicka Neumann, was born on 23 Feb 1897 in Marshall Co., KS. Her death was on 03 Nov 1982 in South Bend, Pacific Co., WA. She was married to Jesse C. Butler on 22 Dec 1920 in Marysville, Marshall Co KS

Brief Illness claims Lena Dora Butler

Lena Dora Butler, 85, died Nov. 3 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital, South Bend, Wash., after a brief Illness.
Services were conducted here Wednesday afternoon from the Kinsley Mortuary Chapel with Mike Luckeroth officiating.
Burial was in the Marysville Cemetery with arrangements by Kinsley.

Pallbearers were Norbert Slupianek, Roy Heston, John Oyler, Jack Butler, Darrel Butler and Don Butler.
The former Lena Dora Blocker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Blocker, was born Feb. 24, 1897, at Home.

She married Jesse Butler Sept. 22, 1920. They were parents of three sons and one daughter.
She had been a resident of Willapa Harbor Care Center, Raymond, Wash. since 1974.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 8, 1975, and by her parents and three sisters.

Survivors are her children, Claude E. Butler of Eugene, Ore.; Samuel Butler and Clayton Butler, both of Topeka; and Verla Smith, Beatrice; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Clara Unger of Topeka; Hilda Diener of Hadley, Minn.; and Esther Czernicke of Marysville, and a brother, Clarence Blocker, Genoa, Neb.
