MARIE LUCCO (nee Rucinski) Crown Point, Indiana Age 97, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. She was born in East Chicago, IN on July 11, 1911, to the late Anthony & Amelia (Miskovich) Rucinski. Marie was a very devout member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and its Rosary Sodality. Throughout her lifetime, she was a wonderful cook, and a very loving, giving, caring and forgiving individual. In addition to her parents, Marie's beloved husband, Sebastian Lucco, preceded her in death in 1988, along with her grandson, David Miller, brothers Stanley, Pete & Eddie Rucinski--and Julie Talaga & Jean Hatfield--whom she graciously raised as young children. Marie is survived by her 3 children: Ida (late Tom) Trajkovich of Crown Point, Bonnie (late Denny) Miller of Hobart and Dr. Marrey "Snooks" (John O'Sullivan) Embers of Boston, MA; 11 grandchildren, Marie (Jerry) McLaughlin, Nancy (Wayne) O'Brien, Denise (Wayne) Morris, Denny Miller, Mike Miller, Judi (Jeff) Yates, Maurya Sullivan (Joel Kadis), Liam Sullivan (Eric Falcon), Tim (Jen) Sullivan, Linda (Ken) McKinney & Bobby Talaga. Also, 15 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Albert (Eleanor) Rucinski of Munster; 4 sisters, Rose Allen of Arizona, Sonja Kristofek of Crown Point, Josephine "Honey" Domkowski & Anne Steinhauer, both of Las Vegas, NV; special niece, Mary Bodnar & family; sister-in-law, Julie Rucinski. Also, many nieces, nephews and dear family friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at Blessed Sacrament Church (1775 W. 41st Ave., Glen Park) with Msgr. John Siekierski, officiating. Interment, Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may meet directly at the church from 9 AM until time of Mass. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 PM at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, under Savich & Semplinski Directors. Blessed Sacrament Sodality will pray the Rosary at 4 PM, Sunday, and the parish Vigil Service will be offered at 7 PM. Her entire family will deeply miss her smiles & kisses
