He was a member of the LDS Church.
He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Missile Electrical Technician. He also owned and operated a farm in Fielding, Utah.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and former member of the Borgstrom VFW Post.
Surviving are his widow, Fielding, Utah; five daughters: Mrs Gary (Lorilyn) Kiren, Diamondville, Wyoming; Mrs James (Jolene) Peiston, Greenwood, Indiana; Mrs Ron (Paula) Cowdrick, Syracuse, Utah; Mrs Derral (Nikki) Allen, Clearfield, Utah; Mrs David (Dena) Goss, Garland, Utah; 15 grandchildren and his mother of Fielding, Utah.
