Graveside services were conducted for the late James Edward Connor of
Winnfield in the Winnfield Cemetery, Monday, January 16, 1939, at 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Connor was an elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and
had held the office of Sunday School Superintendent for nineteen years, being
a faithful worker in the Church. He was loved by all who knew him and his
consideration for others will long be remembered as an outstanding attribute
of his character.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Connor and the following sons and
daughters, Melvin N. Connor, Marlin M. Connor, Margaret L. Connor, Mrs. J. B.
Alexander, Velvert A. Connor, Gilbert A. Connor, and one brother, A. B.
Connor, all of Winnfield.
