Alma C. Jessie Pike, 84, of Columbus, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with the Rev. Larry D. Fields officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.

Mrs. Pike is survived by a daughter, Linda (Russell) Hardin of Columbus; sons, Jimmy (Patty) Jessie of Taylorsville, Randall (Carolyn) Jessie of Dupont and Robert (Linda) Jessie of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Patsy Slayton of Columbus; a brother, Clyde Pedigo of Columbus; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pike; and a daughter, Mary Starks.
