Mrs. Miller died June 26, 2011 in Athens.
She was born July 9, 1913 in Henderson County to the late John Conrad and Edna Moore Woodson Hallum. After earning a Masters degree from East Texas State College at Commerce, Mrs. Miller had a 38-year teaching career at the elementary level, before retiring while at New Harmony Elementary School. She was a charter member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd H. Miller; brother John M. Hallum; sisters Elizabeth Warlsman, Alice Childs and Edna Gray Dillard.
Survivors include sister Doris Bridge, Athens and numerous nephews and nieces.
