A graveside service for Lila Edna Parvin of Lodi, Calif., was held today in Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi.

Mrs. Parvin died July 2, 1999, in Lodi. She was 82.

She was born June 15, 1917, in Blythe, Calif. Raised and educated in southern California, she graduated from David Star Jordan High School in 1936.

She and Glenn Edwin Parvin were married March 19, 1939.

She lived in Long Beach, Calif., and Bellflower, Calif., before settling in Anaheim, Calif. in 1953. She lived in McMinnville from 1990 until 1995, when she moved to Lodi. Mrs. Parvin was a lead assembler at Douglas Aircraft, Long Beach, for 25 years. She enjoyed rock collecting, gardening and volunteering as a prayer partner for Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Edward Parvin of Lodi; two daughters, Mavis Louise Fewell of Anaheim and Nina Joy Montgomery of Renton, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
