Mrs. Hawk was a daughter of the late Thomas Gregg and Katie Mae Swanger Gregg. Mrs. Hawks was the widow of Elmer Hawk, who died December 10, 1998.
Survivors include her two daughters,; Eleanor H. Woodard (Vernon) and Nancy H. Canaday (Bill) from Nashville, Tenn. her son Robert "Bob" Hawk (Betty Marie) of Kingsport;two grandchildren; Watanna Jones and Kimberly Reese; two great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mary G Cox and Lucille G. Dykes, and a brother Eugene Gregg (Mabel), all of Kingsport; and serveral nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother; Ruby Craft Gregg; two sisters, Paul Smith and Willie Pearl Holland; and three brothers; James Gregg and two infants.
