O.P. Hersberger, of Near Lapel Dies
Lapel, Aug 10--Oliver P. Hersberger, age 76, life-long resident of Stony Creek township, died early today at St. John's Hospital following a long illness. The body was taken to Fisher Brothers funeral home where friends will be received after 6 p.m. this evening. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Rambo and Mrs. Ida Newton, both of Lapel; three sons, Guy of Middletown; Dale of Versailles; and Tom, of near Lapel; a brother Howard Hersberger of near Lapel; a sister, Mrs. Ella Sears, Lapel; 26 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was a member of the local Methodist Church.

Final rites for Oliver P. Hersberger, age 76, ...will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fisher Brothers funeral home. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Donald Barnes. Interment will be in the Brookside cemetery.
