Mrs. Sallie M. Edenfield, age 95, died Tuesday, April 09, 2002, at East Cooper Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. She was a native of Summertown, Ga., and moved to Bulloch County in 1926. Mrs. Edenfield was a homemaker and a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Lester Edenfield; her daughter, Hazel E. Wagner; her stepson, John Gordon Edenfield; and four stepdaughters, Mildred Munn, Ann Frier, Nell Kinlen and Ora Lee Edenfield.
Surviving are her daughter, Martha B. Lammey of Isle of Palms, S.C.; her son, Henry Calvin Edenfield of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Edenfield will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Old Fellowship Baptist Church with Dr. John Parker officiating. Burial will be in Old Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
