Dublin - John Gordon Edenfield, 58, of Stilson, died Saturday at the Dublin Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Bulloch County, he was a former resident of Stilson community and had lived at the VA Hospital for several years.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. R. L. Edenfield of Kingsland; five sisters, Mrs. Robert Nunn of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Ann Frier of Belglade, Fla., Mrs. J. A. Kinlen of Hialeah, Fla., Miss Ora Lee Edenfield of Gibson and Mrs. Billy Findley of Kingsland; a brother, H. C. Edenfield of Houston, Tex.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, near Stilson, with burial in the church cemetery.
