The death of Grant Kelsey, 81, occurred Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Elsie Brenenman, two and one half miles southeast of Wheeling. Mr Kelsey had been ill for the past 5 months. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday afternoon from the Meadville Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Meadville Cemetery, beside his late wife, Hanna (Shore) Kelsey, who preceded him in death in 1940. Grant Kelsey was born July 12, 1865, in Stylesville, Indiana. He moved with his parents to the Meadville Community when a young man. He became a member of the Methodist church many years ago. His life-time vocation has been farming. Survivors are three daughters, Elsie Brenenman, Mrs C P Dickson of California, and Mrs Richard (Frances) Templeman; two sons, Raymond Kelsey of Chillicothe and Sanford A Kelsey of Pennsylvania; and several grandchildren.
