"Mrs. Frances Templeman, widow of Richard Templeman, died this morning at her home in Meadville. She was 69. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced from the Wright Funeral Home in Meadville." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, February 15, 1980

"Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Templeman, 69-year-old Meadville resident, who died Friday, were held this afternoon at the Meadville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Noland officiating. Burial was in the Meadville cemetery under the direction of the Wright Funeral Home in Meadville.

Mrs. Templeman was born Jan. 30, 1911, in Meadville, the daughter of Grant Kelsey and Hannah Shore Kelsey. She was married to Richard Templeman in 1932. He died Nov. 16, 1961. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and had spent most of her life on a farm south of Meadville. She had worked several years as a postal clerk at the Meadville post office.

Her survivors include a sister, Grace Dickson of Duarte, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers Raymond and Sanford Kelsey; and three sisters, Elsie Brenneman, Effie Larson, and Katie Mae Kelsey."
