Mrs Rupert P. Glass died at Denver at 2:45 a.m. Sunday foloowing a sudden illness. Weltha Boyd Glass had spent most of her life in Strawberry Point, Iowa, until 1944 when she came to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, moving to Denver five years ago. She was born March 22, 1893, at Littleport.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four sons, Marcene L. Glass of Big Bear Lake, California, Howard J. Glass of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kenneth M. Glass of Detroit, Michigan, and Bruce E. Glass of Charles City, Iowa; three brothers Merils Boyd of Northwood, Ray Boyd of Nevada, Iowa, and Oakley Boyd of Ontario, California; a sister, Mrs Virgie Asperes of China Lake, California; ten grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Mrs. Glass was a member of the Kenwood Methodist Church.
Services will be conducted in the Trinity Methodist Church, at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Glenn S. Hartong. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the Turner chapel from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
