Reuben Allen Polson May 16, 1918 - December 21, 2007 Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Little- Davenport Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. for Reuben Allen Polson, 89, of Gainesville. Rev. Rodney Colston will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm in Canton GA at the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Little-Davenport Funeral Home. Mr. Polson passed away December 21, 2007 at Autumn Breeze Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mr. Polson was born on May 16, 1918. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from the State of Georgia with over 30 years of service working for the Building Authority. Mr. Polson was also a member and deacon of Kilough Baptist Church. Mr. Polson is preceded in death by his first wife, brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Claudine Polson of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Johnny Vaughn, Lawrenceville, GA., son and daughter-in-law, Stan Musial and Karen Polson, Blue Ridge, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Dale Coker, Flowery Branch, GA, daughter, Beverly McDonald, sister, Ruth Bruce, grandchildren: Pam, Angie, John, Jennifer, Jessica, Zachary, Danielle and Tyler, other relatives and friends.
