On November 15, 1928, the Death Angel visited our home and made our Hearts very sad with the death of our dear mother.
She was born in Coffee County, Alabama, August 1, 1849, and lived 79 years, 3 months and 7 days: She lived a Christian life. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Methodist church in which she lived for 35 years, then she moved her membership to the Presbyterian church at Sharon. She loved her church very dearly.
She was laid to rest in Old Sharon cemetery with Dr. W. H. McIntosh, of Hattiesburg to conduct the funeral, assisted by Rev. Woodward D. Morris.
