RENSSELAER -- Mrs. Thelma Ruth Bell, 61, of 730 Leopold St., died Saturday in Jasper County Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks.
She was born in Jasper County, and in 1921 married Frank L. Bell in Rensselaer. She was employed at St. Joseph College as a cook.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the EUB Church.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, Milvern of Fairbank, Alaska and Frank L. Bell Jr. of Martinez, California; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Daniels of Hammond, Mrs. Mary Hart of Indianapolis, Mrs. Frances Bell of Wolcott and Mrs. Rosemarie Alpha of Monticello; her mother, Mrs. Nannie Blankenbaker of Jasper County; two brothers, Ira Porter of Morocco and Clayton Porter of Parr; and three sisters, all of Morocco, Mrs. Bertha Marion, Mrs. Helen Printz and Mrs. Alice Phillips.
