Rose Marie "Rosie" Alpha, 78, of Lafayette, died at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette.
She was born on April 19, 1932 in Rensselaer to the late Frank and Ruth Porter Bell. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Frank Bell and two sisters, Colleen Ward and Francis Bell.
Surviving are a daughter, Sherry Burchett and son, John R. Alpha II, both of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mary Hart of Carmel; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
