Mrs Elizabeth Morgan,48, wife of Homer Morgan died at 1:20 pm September 16 at her home on Route 1 London, from cancer. She had been ill for the last 26 months.
Funeral services were conducted last Friday afternoon at the Hightop Baptist Church, of which she was a member, by the Rev McKinley Neeley. Interment followed in the Storms Cemetery, Route 1 by the Rawlings Funeral Home.
A lifelong resident of Laurel County, Mrs Morgan was born Jan 12, 1911, the daughter of Henry And Nannie Storms Anders, both of whom survive.
She and Mr Morgan were married April 19,1929 and he and two daughters and four sons also survive: Ella Kate Young, Bear Camp, Ky; William L Morgan, Indianapolis: and Nellie Ruth, D.C., Harold Wayne and Homer Denver Morgan all of London Route 1.
Mrs Morgan also leaves two sisters, and four brothers: Mrs Zora Cox and Mrs Phebe Clark, both of Route 1; Roy Anders, Cincinnati, George Anders, Hamilton, Oakley Anders, Norwood, and Litton Anders Mason Ohio and three grandchildren.
