NATCHEZ — Services for Lola Walter, 66, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at her home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Kingston.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Community Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Walter was born Dec. 13, 1943, in Copiah County, the daughter of John Cupit Sr. and Corene Smith Cupit.

She was a graduate of Port Gibson High School. She was the manager at Cedar Grove Bed and Breakfast and a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James "Bud" Cupit and two sisters, Mamie O. Jackson and Sarah Musick.

Survivors include her husband Duey Walter; one son, Trey Walter; two daughters, Lori Walter and Carolyn Watson; three brothers, John Cupit, Wallace Cupit and Pete Cupit; one sister, Cathrene Sanders; three grandchildren, Ryan Woolfolk, Lee Bilew and Nickolas Bilew and one great-grandson, John M. Walter.
